We were welcomed with a warm fire in the stove and beautiful views from every window where we caught eagles soaring over the frozen pond. The bunkhouse had all of the comforts that we needed including flannel sheets. A great getaway in the woods.

I left home lost and confused by life's lessons...and headed for Dragonwood. I wandered the beautifully natural grounds where vegetables and flowers share space. I sat to soak in the peacefulness of the lapping lake waters.
The complete comfort of my stay was only surpassed by the simple beauty. I came home much more centered and mindful of off-grid living and the beauty simplicity can bring... and for that... thank you [Dragonwood]!!!
If you get a chance to bring your sled and climb on the I.T.S. DO IT!! So beautiful.

From the welcoming ribbons of color to the brilliant stars at night, Dragonwood is alive with sights and sounds.
One morning as my husband and I had our coffee on the bunkhouse deck, we enjoyed the sounds of the Loons, and most of all the silence of the trees. What a calming energizing time for us. I was very happy that the host told us there would be no restaurants within an hours drive, it gave us a chance to enjoy cooking together like our younger days.
The kitchen was well furnished in fact the whole bunkhouse was well equipped. Thank you and we will be back.
